The office sits in West Columbia, accessible from I-70 and Highway 63. The building offers free surface parking with spaces near the entrance, and our suite is on the second floor with clear signage in the lobby. If you’d like a Google Maps link sent to you in advance, mention it when you call or email and we’ll send one over.
Our receptionist will greet you and bring you back to one of our meeting rooms. You may also be greeted by Sunny, our office dog and unofficial Chief Happiness Officer. Coffee and water are usually on the counter, and first meetings tend to run 45 to 60 minutes. Our Sarasota office is centrally located on Main Street in downtown Sarasota, walking distance from shops, restaurants, and the waterfront. Street parking is available, and a parking garage is one block away. Suite 705 sits on the seventh floor with elevator access from the lobby.

Once your message lands with us, the first thing that happens is a quick internal review so we know which member of the team is best positioned to follow up with you. Some inquiries land naturally with Jared, others with Gina, others with Lorna, Payton, Taylor, or Bill depending on where the conversation is starting, so before you even hear back, there’s some thought behind who picks up the call, and the entire team stays involved from there.

When schedules allow, we move into a FIT Meeting. This is the mutual-evaluation conversation where you share what you’ve built and what you’re hoping for. There’s no charge and no pressure to continue past it.
At the end of the FIT Meeting, we tell you what we think. If we believe we can add real value, we’ll outline how the next phase looks, and if we don’t, we’ll tell you that too, often with a recommendation of someone better suited to your situation. Either way, you’ll leave the conversation with clarity you didn’t have walking in.

Yes. Many of our clients work with us entirely by video and phone, especially those located outside Missouri and Florida. Just mention your preference when you reach out, and we’ll set things up accordingly.
No formal preparation is required. Some people like to gather recent statements (401(k), IRA, brokerage, insurance) ahead of time. Others just want to talk and figure out next steps from there. Both are fine. The first conversation is mostly about whether the relationship can work.
The FIT Meeting is complimentary. We use it to understand your situation and determine whether we’re the right fit. Fees and engagement terms only come up if both sides decide to move forward.
